This 1940s Japanese photograph of a water molecule is very cool, dark, and texture-y. It makes me think about how I could make a molten-looking, somnolent, really moody ring out of it. It also makes me think about the band The Silver Jews–that great, great line: “And I want to be like water if I can/because water don’t give a damn.” I don’t know why, but it makes sense to me.
